The expected release date for the iPhone 6 could be as early as Spring of 2012. There could be some drastic design changes on the new Apple iPhone 6 that could get a screen from Sharp. There is also some speculation that the new iPhone 6 might actually share a display that is very similar to the one used on the very popular HTC Evo 3D model.
Unlike the iphone5, the iphone 6 is going to have a major redesign. The iPhone 5 is expected to look very similar to the iPhone 4 although it will have significant performance improvements. The iPhone 6 on the other hand is going to have both visual as well as performance improvements.
Some tech rumors have also put out some exciting rumors about the iPhone 6. Some say that the new iPhone 6 can be charged by solar power while some say that it will come with a design that will readily fit on a dock, that will be sold standard with the iPhone 6.
Generally, Apple usually waits about one calendar year before they can release a breakthrough product, which the iPhone 6 will definitely be.
But, Steve Job's health, the popularity of the iPhone 4 model and the possibility of an improved iPhone 4s model could mean that the iPhone 6 might be on the shelf for a much longer period than just one year.
